Winter feeding station Strongstry.

Started feeding first week in October, up to a couple of days ago quite Just usual resident species but by last weekend and into today numbers have increased.

Blue Tit.  Usual numbers of around 10

Great Tit.  Low numbers around 6

Coal Tit.  This is the third year numbers have increased, can regularly have 12/16 at anytime.

Longtailed Tit.  Flocks of around 14 daily.

Chaffinch.  The resident population of around 8/9 is now 20 plus with lots of movement in and out of the woods.

Bullfinch.  Local couple of pairs.

Goldfinch.  Resident charms of around 16

Siskin.  There has been 2/3 here all week.

Nuthatch.  As usual good numbers coming and going.

Treecreeper.  Single around most days.

Robin. The local 2/3 are now 8/9.

Blackbird.  Our local 4/5 are now 12 plus.

Song Thrush.  Numbers up from two to seven this afternoon.

Dunnock.  Usual couple of pair.

Great Spotted Woodpecker.  2 regular.

Jay.  Only odd ones, but huge amount of acorn and Beechmast around.

Jackdaw.  Half a dozen most morning

Woodpigeon.  Only two, numbers do seem down after again flu.

Unusually for here we have had upto three Goldcrest around the site since the weekend.
