two teams, Ian & Kevin and Bob & Dave attended the ROC bird race today, with additional sightings from Phil, Brian & John & Pete. A total of 64 species were recorded, as shown below.

16. moorhen - 8 at Shortclough, 2 at a frozen Holmes Terrace Lodge, 3 at New Line Res & 3 at Wallbank Lodge
17. coot - 1 at Holden Wood
18. lapwing - 34 over The Hile
