Stubbins to Irwell vale. 1300/1630hrs Calm, sunny, up to 13 degrees.

Chiffchaff. Single in song on railway enbankment Strongstry. Assume an overwinter moved to here as no winter records this year and a little early for true migrant.

Also of interest,

Long-Tailed Tit. Still small flocks moving round the woods.

Green Woodpecker. One calling.

Jay. 5/6 calling in the woods.

Jackdaws. Lots of sticks being collected.
