  • Canada goose - 24 in Whitworth & a pair in Lee
  • lapwing - 1 over Jennie Rough & 1 over Britannia
  • buzzard - soaring birds to the north & south 
  • kestrel - 1 female
  • pheasant - male below Lee Quarry
  • little owl - 2 in Lee Quarry
  • green woodpecker - yaffling bird below Lee Quarry
  • skylark - min 50 with many in song
  • stock dove - 1 in Whitworth & 6 in Lee 
  • meadow pipit - c35, some in parachute display
  • pied wagtail - 3
  • stonechat - male at Deansgreave Road 
  • mistle thrush - singing bird & a pair at Deansgreave Road
  • linnet - 2 in Whitworth Quarry
  • bullfinch - female on the track to Lee Quarry
