Afternoon ramble

Chiffchaff - singing birds at Rushbed & Stoneholme.

Blackcap - singing birds at Rushbed, Crawshawbooth & Stoneholme

Mistle Thrush - singing bird at Crawshawbooth

Sparrowhawk - 1 at Crawshawbooth

Coal Tit - 1 at Stoneholme

Mallard - 1f w/ 2 small young on river at Goodshawfold + 2m at Shortclough res.

Kestrel - 1 at Goodshawfold + 2 at Greenfold

Swallow - 2 at Goodshawfold over the stables

House Sparrow - 8+ bathing in a puddle at Goodshawfold

Collared Dove - 1 at Goodshawfold

Starling - 1 at Goodshawfold + c12 around Greenfold area feeding amongst sheep

Lapwing - 1pr Goodshawfold on farmland + 3pr at Greenfold

Nuthatch - 1 calling from garden at Badgercote

Greenfinch - 1 at Badgercote

Raven - 1 Goodshawfold over towards Clowbridge

Pheasant - 1 at Greenfold

Canada Goose - Pr at Greenfold + 13 at Shortclough res.

Curlew - calling bird at Greenfold

Skylark - 4 singing at Greenfold + 2 prs flushed from ground

Meadow Pipit - 3 at Greenfold

Wood Pigeon - 25 at Greenfold, all in the same area feeding

Grey Heron - 1 at Greenfold

Goosander - Pr at Shortclough res.

Coot - Pr at Shortclough res.

Little Grebe - Pr at Shortclough res.

Moorhen - Pr at Shortclough res.

Willow Warbler - 1 singing at Shortclough res.

Buzzard - 1 at Greenfold + 1 at Reedsholme.

No Wheatears, Stonechats, Reed Buntings or Ring Ouzels seen around Greenfold.
