  • lesser black-backed gull - c10 over
  • green woodpecker - yaffling bird near Lench
  • pied wagtail - 1 at Cowpe Res
  • meadow pipit - c6 at Cowpe Res
  • swallow - 2 at Cowpe Res
  • sand martin - 2 at Kearns/ Lowerfold
  • house martin - 4 at BRGS
  • wheatear - min 1pr at Cowpe Res
  • stonechat - male at Cowpe Res
  • mistle thrush - singing birds at Gaghills, Lench & Cowpe Park
  • blackcap - singing birds at Gaghills, The Glen, Hugh Mill, Lench & Boarsgreave
  • chiffchaff - singing birds at Lench & Boarsgreave
  • willow warbler - 1 on the hillside in Cowpe & at least 3 at Cowpe Res
