  • woodcock - 1 on Cowpe Lowe
  • green woodpecker - yaffling bird at higher Lench
  • kingfisher - 1 on the River Whitewell off Thornfield Avenue in Waterfoot
  • meadow pipit single call heard on Cowpe Lowe
  • grey wagtail - 1 in Waterfoot
  • fieldfare - single bird at Lench Fold
  • redwing - 2 over Lench, c40 at Lench Fold/ Hurdles Quarry & 2 at Warth
  • nuthatch - 1 at Cowpe Allotments
  • dipper - 1 at Lench
  • long-tailed tit - min 7 at Hugh Mill
  • jay - 1 at Warth
  • goldfinch - min 24 at Cowpe Allotments, min 14 at Higher Lench & c30 at Warth
