flock of c25 golden plover seen distantly flying over the brow of the hill from Peers Clough

cormorant - 1 over and down the Limy valley

lapwing - 2 seen by Nige in Point Wood field

peregrine - 1 landed on the bank at the dam wall & was seen later heading towards Burnley

whitethroat - 1 sang briefly before the rain
willow warbler - c8
chiffchaff - 2 singing
goldcrest - 3 singing birds
linnet - 2
