Osprey Holden Wood Reservoir 

Seen firstly flying along Ogden reservoir dam wall but then lost sight of it so walked 

to the top end of Holden reservoir to find it perched on top of a telegraph pole 

I watched it for a good 30 minutes before flying down low over Holden Wood Reservoir turned 

then plunging into the water then lifting off with a fish in its talons fantastic too watch 

then flying off towards Ogden out of sight 

On the 17/9/2025 my brother saw a Osprey flying around and over Cowpe Reservoir but was moved on by Carrion Crows

possibly the same bird
