I was puzzled as to why you'd kept secret what species you were referring to, then I noticed there is a profanity filter which has starred out what it thinks is a rude word. Unfortunately, I haven't got access to change the list of words it is looking for, I'd need to pay $5 a month to have that facility. So we'll just have to live with it for now.
By the way - there was a Red Admiral feeding on overripe pears in our garden (in Bolton) this morning.
I had two Red Admirals also feeding on ripe fruit today. I have hung apples out and they were feeding on these crossed with a little soaking up some rays!
