Fieldfare: 1557 (26parties, best parties 200,180,160,100). First half hour best, then occasional parties say every 20 minutes or so. Redwing: 105 Blackbird: 18 (5 small parties - starting coming around the 0900hrs mark) Starling: 284 (best parties 2x50, average parties 15-20) Woodpigeon: 45 Chaffinch: 54 Brambling: 4 Siskin: 6 Goldfinch: 15 Greenfinch: 5 Redpoll: 2 Pied Wagtail: 1 Mallard: 4 N (probably local) Cormorant: 2 BHG: 10 Jackdaw: 2 Jay: 2 (probably local)
Good to hear from you. Yes its been a great year for me specially in regards to FIELDFARES, I cant remember ever having so many go through the Grane before. I still think there's some to come, there showing very late this year.
Yes it is my intention to get to every meeting, but can never remember the dates, and when I cop the date its usually a day or two after the meeting.
When I close this mail I'll go on the ROC website and get the dates down and book them in my diary so hopefully I wont forget.
