Ashworth Moor Res: 1 great crested grebe, 20 canada geese flew in to roost, 4 mallard, 1f shoveler, 51 goosander, 1 kestrel, circa 50 common and 500 black headed gulls roosted, 2ad & 1 juv great black backed gulls, 2 short eared owls, 1 pr stonechat, 35 fieldfare, 57 redwing flew east, 9 pied wagtails.


Harden Moor: 150+ starlings, 6 redwing, 1 kestrel, 2 mistle thrush.

It's on the road that goes from Edenfield to Rochdale.  It is just opposite the Owd Betts pub near the highest point on the road just before you start to drop into Norden.
