Seen on the fields of Horncliffe Mount Farm Balladen on two days running, also on the fields adjacent to the old tip above that farm toward Horncliffe Top Farm. Not seen Hares here before, been living here for six years close on.

Hi, On the nights of the 16th, 17th & 18th July c.150 bat recordings were made of only 2 species - Soprano Pipistrelle & Common Pipistrelle. The former made up 75% of the contacts & included some feeding buzzes & a few social calls. All the best Andy

After a lot of deliberation and getting advice from more learned people than me, I have to post the sighting of what appears to be a Pipistrelle Bat at 5-15pm last Friday. It looked bigger,more rusty coloured and flew different but no other species fits!! Regards, Dave Ousey
