Gaghills 08:00: 24 goldfinch, 2m & 1f bullfinch, 15 greenfinch & 12 chaffinch were at our feeders.

Staghills Woods 09:00: 2 great spotted woodpecker, 1pr long tailed tit, 2pr coal tit, 2 singing song thrush & 11 singing dunnock.

Lower Cloughfold 10:15: 1 sparrowhawk, 1pr mistle thrush, 1pr long tailed tit & 1m bullfinch.

Bocholt Way/ Rawtenstall 10:40: 1 grey heron, c65 mallard, 2pr mistle thrush & 1 grey wagtail.

Holmes Terrace Lodge area 11:25: 1pr mallard, 3 moorhen, black headed gull 40 over & 5 on the lodge, 9 lapwing flying down the Irwell Valley, 1 pied wagtail & 1 grey wagtail.

Edenfield Bypass Townsendfold to Ewood Bridge 11:45: 1 grey heron, 1 redhead goosander, 1 pr long tailed tit, 5 redwing & 10 wood pigeon.

EBSW 12:15: 1m goosander flying up the Irwell Valley, c100 black headed gull, 2 common gull and 30 + 1 + 2 herring gull over, 1 goldcrest, 1 blackbird & 1 chaffinch singing.

Ravenshore 12:40: A sparrowhawk panicked 60 redwing,1 stock dove & 2 redpoll.

Holden Wood 13:30: 1 great crested grebe, 3 cormorant, 12 mallard, 1f goldeneye, c50 black headed gull, 3 + 5 + 3 +1 herring gull over, 2 common gull over, 1 lesser black back gull over, 1m kestrel, 2 meadow pipit & 5 reed bunting.

Ogden 14:15: 2 grey heron, 5 herring gull over.

Calf Hey 14:40: 1 sparrowhawk, 1 woodcock, 1 great spotted woodpecker & 5 long tailed tit.

Deep Clough 16:10: 1 woodcock.

Todd Hall Plantation 17:00: 53 wood pigeon & 1 jay roosting.
