Just the odd Meadow Pipit going through perhaps every 8-10 mins and generally in singles. Its as though when the weather looks great to us, it is just not what the Pipits want for migration - the last few days they have been going through in reasonable numbers against winds, yet today with little to no wind, virtually no birds. Can only presume its something to do with the earlier variant light winds this morning which possibly makes them undecided!!
