Oakenhead Wood Rd - 3 Linnet and f Blackbird with nest material.
E.B.S.W. - Little of note no Shelducks and very few Wagtails. Rooks at 2 nests at Ravenshore. Pr Nuthatch at nest site in Irwell Vale. Osprey flew into river and emerged with a fish pursued by every crow, gull jackdaw and mallard in the area. The whole lot soared up with the osprey before it eventually got way above them. It then soared very high slightly east before half closing its wings to plane north still grasping the fish.
Chiffchaff and Blackcap in song on the far side of the sewage works and 2 Swallows flew over the football field onto the beds.
