Common Sandpipers

The Common Sandpipers that have been active on Ogden Res. recently have laid four eggs in a well hidden nest that I have brought to the attention of the anglers in case they step on it.
The Sparrowhawks have been very vociferous lately and I expect the young to be showing soon, I thought I saw one yesterday but not certain.
A Nuthatch was also seen in the Ogden plantation and I hope it does not frighten off the Roe Deer that picked its way through the undergrowth as I tried to tempt a trout.
Theres more to fishing than fish.
