2:30pm 1 Large Dragonfly that looked for all the world like a Brown Hawker. Only saw it for a few seconds, and wing colour was not very evident, but body was brown. My only doubt is that it's earlier than it should be. Ina
I suspect it was a Brown Hawker. Things seem to be appearing earlier than normal this year. The News section on the Atlas site mentions Brown Hawkers at several places recently.
Was there not a female too? Could have excaped from Mr Noah's boat mentioned under butterflies?
