East View pond:-
Azure Damsels present in small numbers with 2 pair egg laying.
2 Male Blue Tailed.

Edenwood:-
Azure Damsels present and egg laying.

Strongstry:-  (from BRIAN) this am.
3 Brown Hawkers
1 Med size, Blue Body, Orange/Brown Thorax.
Sounds like a Common Hawker, but he will try to Photograph it to confirm.

A photo would be very helpful, but description does suggest Common Hawker. When he says medium sised, presumably Brian still takes it to be a hawker rather than one of the chasers? In terms of wingspan they approach hawkers, but with rather shorter bodies.

Hi Jim,
It was described as 'blue spots', sorry I missed a word.  This appears regularly in Brian's garden, but has gone by the time the camera is set up.
If you have anything to add Brian, we will await with bated-breath!!!
Cheers,
Ina.

That does sound like a hawker. Of the two (Common and Southern) Common has brown and yellow thorax sop fits tthe description better. Thorax of Southern is green, and this also has the broad yellow/green stripeson front of thorax which should be noticeable if it is flying towards you. Common has very thin stripes or none at all.
