Wind: SW15mph and decreasing - 75% fogged out and clearing to 80% by 1000hours, heavy rain for first hour.
Movement: West unless specified different.
At first it was a absolute vismiggers nightmare, with strong wind, fogged out and heavy rain showers, the very 3 things you just do not want. Starlings started again as usual from about 0900hours, a super 9 Crossbill party.

Crossbill: 9 (one party) it is possible they did come down further up the valley E in Top O'th Knoll Planting - not sure whether they carried on

Great Spotted Woodpecker: 1E (possibly local)
Green Woodpecker: heard 2 separate birds yaffling - probably local)
Woodpigeon:7 (6E)
Jay: 1
Jackdaw: 3
Redwing: 55 (best party 30)
Fieldfare: 9 (just pairs and threes, very dissorientated and circling around and 2 lots moving out NE direction)
Starling: 125 (9 parties, best parties: 21,25,20,15) (as usual started from around the 0900hrs)
