Warth     1 stock dove, 1 dipper, 1 grey wagtail, 5 long tailed tit & 1 song thrush.  At least 7 nest sites occupied at the heronry.  2 nests have recently been blown away.  1 was an old nest and appeared not to be in use this year, the other had been built this year.

Holmes Terrace Lodge     3 heron, 19 mallard, 2 moorhen, 1 coot, & 1 song thrush.

The Holme to Ewood Bridge    1pr goosander, 2 dipper, 52 wood pigeon, 1 grey wagtail & 1pr long tailed tit.

EBSW      9 mallard, 1 moorhen, 25 black headed gull, 60 carrion crow, 80 jackdaw, 3 stock dove, 30 pied wagtail & 200 starling.

Irwell Vale      A garden near the church held the following, 4 collared dove, 4 wood pigeon, 2 great spotted woodpeckers, 1 nuthatch, 20 house sparrow and a few blue tit, great tit, dunnock, starling & chaffinch.  A kingfisher was on the river.

Dearden Moor/ Sand Beds Farm     10 lapwing, 1 snipe, 4 skylark & 12 starling.

Great Heights Quarry      1 little owl, 3 meadow pipit, 1pr stonechat & 1 wren.

male blackcap & at least 5 brambling still coming to our feeders at Gaghills.
