approx 1pm - 3.30pm
From Information Centre, Grane Road, Haslingden Moor to Oswaldtwistle Moor (Warmwithens & Dry Hill areas) then East to Thirteen Stone Hill, Haslingden and down to Farmers Glory Pub.
Curlew: 2 pairs
Swallow: 6 (1,2,3) all heading North.
Redpoll: 1 crossing moor.
Lapwing: 2 (1 pair)
Wheatear: 2 (1 pair)
Meadow Pipits: lots
Skylark: lots.
Moor was well watered and boggy everywhere for the time of year, no Crane Fly hatches this year as yet...
Found 2 Peregrine kills = racing pigeon.
Cheers,
Bryan.
