34 Species in all.  Edited Highlights:-
1 Lapwing
1 Kingfisher
7 Sand martin
4 Grey Wags + young
3 Blackcap singing
6 Wilow Warb singing
1 Chiffchaff
1pr Jay
 Didn't manage a Dipper anywhere unfortunately.
 Sand martin colony 3 nestholes being used.
Also seen 1 industrial archeologist and 1 lesser spotted Nuttall

Hi Ina - it's frustrating when you don't pick up during the 2 hours a species you know to be present, isn't it?

Who was the industrial archeologist and what is Dave suffering from that he's so spotty?

Dave it was Jim.
Haven't a clue about the other chap, but he was writing a book and wanted to tell me all about the mill races, etc., in the area.  Nothing to do with flora or fauna, but I wondered if anyone else had come across him.
By the way does the 'Bird of Paradise' suit me?
