1 grey heron, 1 g c grebe, 18 canada, 3 mallard drakes, 7 lapwing seen in total but im guessing there were 3/4 individuals, some ston chat, reed buntings, plenty of meadow pipits, house martins, swifs, swallows,  about 15 b h gull, 1 moorhen called, wood pigeons, carrion crows

clough head - 1 kestrel which was viciously chased by a carrion crow which then quickly landed on th ground and was possibly injured by the kestrel?  jay, 4 magpies, couple of lapwing and b h gulls, and maybe 2 ravens - 1 seen in the distance carrying something white in its mouth flying towards musbury

Hi Jim,

I was abroad for a few months so coul not really post on this forum although I did check up to see what others had posted now and then - wanted to see if spring brought any surprises. Its good to be back to better weather. International birding is so much better!
