3 prs great spotted woodpeckers feeding young at nests today.  Young poking their heads out of nest hole at one site look ready to fledge soon. 
mistle thrush on nest  & 1 pr chasing magpies at another site. 
1 family of long tailed tits.
1 pr blue tits feeding young in nest box, bringing food every 1 or 2 minutes whilst I was watching.
minimum of 6 singing blackcaps.
If you follow the link ther should be a couple of shots of the peckers, the mistle thrush and a couple of large red damsels.

Nice piccies Kevin, especially the Damsel. Is the close up a crop of the other image? Whatever it is, it is a very clear shot.

The damselfly was at Kenroy's Pond at Warth.
