20:30-22:10,
Shelduck, a flock of 18 birds flew up and down the Reservoir at maybe 200feet high for around 50 minutes at least. They quite often looked like landing on the res and also like flying off but never did either. I left them at 22:10 still flying up and down the res!
Mallard, 7,
Kestrel, at least 3 hunting birds,
B.H.Gull, 2 adults and 1 seperate juvenile bird,
Tawny Owl, 1 calling,
Swift, c50 hawking over the moorland and woods,
Skylark, c8 singing birds,
Meadow Pipit, c12,
Swallow, c12 inc several juvs,
Willow Warbler, c4 in weak song,
Grasshopper Warbler, at least 2 reeling birds,
Stonechat, 2 juvs and 2 males,
Reed Bunting, 3 singing males and a pair,
