First SMALL TORTOISHELL plus Skippers etc.

11am -2pm 25th July 2008 - Top O'th'Slate
Small Tortoishell - 1 feeding on Ragwort (in lovely condition)
Large Skipper - 5 (photo if interested at http://topoftheslate.blogspot.com/ )
Large White - 3
Meadow Brown - 12
Also a small white butterfly, but was unable to establish species.
