A brilliant colony with a minimum of 20 Gatekeepers at rear of Top O'th Knoll (near the mushroom timber sculptures) at Haslingden Grane... also a few on the thistle to the front of Top O'th Knoll alongside the footpath together with about 4 small skippers.... Also had throughout walk about 15 Green Veined White and about 20 Meadow Brown.  And another great bonus these days of a Red Admiral (my second in 3 days, but only the 2nd of the year..) near to Stoney Rake.
