11 Goosander at Tip lodge inc. 1 ad. male bird - first time I've seen these here.

Rawtenstall - checked out R. Irwell at Greenbridge, no sign of Waxxies yet! but numbers appear to be increasing in Ribble valley so keep your eyes open,
Grey Wagtail along the river here + another at Leabrook along with c40 Mallard.

Sorry this is a bit late but have been nailed to the sick bed since my return on Sunday, but tried my luck with Grt. Hameldon to see if all the Lancashire Snow Buntings were in residence up there.  Unfortunatley it was the usual story with nothing showing (apart from one solitary dropping).  However all was not lost as 16 Golden Plover were amongst the tussocks and boulders & 5 Goosander were on the water at Grt. Hameldon res.
A flock of c12 Meadow Pipit were on Nutshaw Hill along with a Merlin perched on a wall nearby. A single snipe was also seen.

Regards - Bob.
