Hi all,
I'm going through the records submitted for Rook last year and we only have 20 records. If anyone passes a rookery during the next month or so before the leaves appear can they make a note of the number of occupied nests so we can have a better summary for 2009?
I've passed a few sites today and some nests are still in their early stages of construction but a rough count was as follows:

Peers Clough,     c12,
Water,                c17,
Weir,                   c12,
Broadclough,       c25,
Rook Hill,             c21.

Hopefully these will increase a little over the next week or so!
