managed to get up here for the first time ever

plenty of chaffinches and tits at the calf hey info centre, plenty of meadow pipits on the farms and moor,  good numbers of carrion crow and one possible raven
magpies and woodpigeons too

1 curlew seen, 3 more heard
1 lapwing heard not seen

1 kestrel
1 merlin flying over towards oswaldtwistle/grey mare direction

there is nt really that much heather moorland up there or did i miss it?
