G.C.Grebe, 2 assume a pair!
Mallard, c8 mainly males,
Canada Goose, pair,
Curlew, 1 over calling,
Pied Wagtail, 2,
Grey Wagtail, 1,
Stonechat, pair,
Wheatear, 7, a single, pair and group of 4. A male appeared to be of the Greenland race as it was vey bright and big!
Swallow, 1 flew south!
Skylark, c12 maninly in song,
Meadow Pipit, c8,
Grasshopper Warbler, 1 reeling from  rushes at southern end between east bay and boathouse,
Willow Warbler, c8 in song,
Chaffinch, c12
Greenfinch, 2,
Linnet, male at southern end,
Redpoll, pair up limersgate towards Compston's Cross,
Reed Bunting, 2 pairs , 1 female and 3 males, good numbers present with several in song.
