Edenwood
2 Moorhen
All birds singing as last posting with addition of a couple more Dunnock and a Blackbird.
1 song I can't ID. Have listened to CD.. Now have to go back for another listen!!confuse

East View Pond
2 pairs Canada Geese. One pr with 4 goslings, few days old, still yellow and fluffy.
1 Song thrush
1 Grey Heron

Cliffe Lodge
1 pair Mallard with one duckling... not sure how long that one will last tho.
1 Moorhen
1 Grey Heron (diff bird) being seen off by a Crow.

Not much else, seemed very quiet, but was lunchtime.

Hi Ina,

Was the moorhen on cliffe lodge ?. There was one there before i went on holiday,looked like it was nesting but only saw one bird.

Yes Brian, just the one, hiding under the vegitation on the far side towards the narrow end.  Not alot of cover anywhere else there though is there?
The lodge is up for sale if you have a spare 50k!!!!

Hi Ina,

Who owns the lodge to sell it,someone is spending a fortune on the old nursing home,all new windows,electrics and plumbing. Wondered if all this will affect our right of way.
