I heard this on tv recently, some sort of seabird....Was it Puffins?
I also believe aquatic mammals were eaten too.....It that where all the otters went.biggrin

Classed as fish as they were thought to come from the shellfish.

Well done, they actually believed that the geese hatched from barnacles so they could be classed as fish and so edible during Lent. Some spin I say but hey......
