0700hrs-0900hrs.
Wind: Quite strong at times E 15mph
Movement: South unless stated.
All Chaffinches either W or E.
 
No thrushes here today, but a superb party of Siskin.
 
Pied Wagtail: 8
Chaffinch: 49
Meadow Pipit: 39
Linnet: 1
Starling: 28
Raven: 2 (probably local)
Greenfinch: 1
Goldfinch:5
Reed Bunting: 1
Song Thrush: 2
Woodpigeon: 45
Siskin: 35  (all one party with a Redpoll)
Redpoll: 1  (among Siskin party).

Thanks for giving me a ring with regards Redwing, much appreciated.  After spending a hour or so at Burton watching out for them and having no joy I decided decided at 1030 to go to Shore Road at Carnforth to see if they were going through at that point,  but again sadly the skies were empty of Thrushes, but it was a splended hour with lots of great stuff especially "Greenfinches".

Movement: South unless stated.
 
Pink Footed Goose: 50 approx (1030hrs)
Greenfinch: 67 (best: 7,8,10,13,9,
Meadow Pipit: 7
Linnet: 19
Chaffinch: 5
Skylark: 7 (5,2)
Swallow: 1
Pied Wagtail: 6
Starling: 41 (5,9,5,3,4,5,10)
Woodpigeon: 1
Goldfinch: 26 (one party 20)
Mistle Thrush: 3
BHG: 1
Reed Bunting: 1
 
also:
Lapwing: perhaps 200+ in large plume to the North (probably Arnside area?)
Curlew: 2 arrived from SE (possibly local)
Kestrel: 1 probably local.
