Last year I was lucky enough to find 12 Crossbills on Christmas Eve,what would this year bring!
Not much change really at Cowm,now a male and female Goosander a female Goldeneye,Pink Footed Goose,but there was no sign of the male Mandarin.
No activity on the water,motorboats,skiers etc due to lots of ice and snow,think I am begining to like the bad weather!
