Monday 8 Feb 9.30am a group of 8 long tailed tits in a garden on bacup road just past the exhaust centre with one other bird a nuthach possibly?

10.20am over 160 gulls heading south over h'den town mainly common gulls with some black-headed and herring

1pm - greenfinches, blue tits all at a garden feeder on newchurch road

Thursday 11 Feb - went  to Holden Wood at about 11.45am but pathway still closed.  The ever present Carrion Crows, Black-Headed gulls and a Blue Tit.

The feeder I put up was almost empty.  I filled it up with more seed.  I will have to go see what species are visting it.
