Clowbridge 10:30ish

4m + 1f Mallard
2 Meadow Pipit
3 Skylark + 2 feeding amongst sheep
1m Reed Bunting
Pr Curlew
Flock of 6 Redpoll feeding
1 Green Woodpecker calling - unusual here.
1 Coal Tit
1 Goldcrest calling
Pr Pied Wagtail
Pr Canada Geese
2m Wheatear - Nutshaw Hill slope

Ewood Bridge - 13:30 hrs
3 Oystercatcher
c35 Pied Wagtail
1 Dipper on river + 1 in song at Irwell Vale
1 Chiffchaff- very short song
Usual B.H.G+ corvids on coke beds.
No Swallows!

Hi Bob,
I popped to EBSW around 17:30 and had the following:

1 Swallow,
2 Oystercatcher,
1 female Sparrowhawk,
pr Long tailed Tits,
pr Canada Goose.

Hi Bob/ Dave

Pete and I were downe at Ewood Bridge this morning and again couldn't find any swallows but did have the following
1 herring gull amongst around 35 lesser black back gulls overhead
kingfisher on the river at the back of EBSW
3 stock dove at EBSW
1 nuthatch near Lumb Vale
4+3+1+1 long tailed tits
Bullfinch calling at Irwell Vale
