Hi Dave

I did the Reaps Moss early breeding season timed tetrad visit this morning and unfortunately missed the buzzard, raven, and curlew, but I can add 2 snipe to your list.  I also had at least 41 skylark, 5 singing male reed buntings and a pair of lapwing near Greave Clough.

cheers Kevin

Hi Kevin,

The Buzzard suddenly appeared from nowhere and looked like it was trying to soar but the crows hassled it so much that it kept heading south towards Whitworth.

The Curlew was the very last bird and only briefly.

I only had one Skylark heading outbounds but it was very hot and no doubt keeping things down. Coming back was better with many singing.

Glad to see Snipe are still up there!

Regards,
David.
