Water levels fallen more, grass growing on exposed muddy banks.
4 Oystercatchers
about 5 canada geese incl 1 young
2 grey herons
a few lapwings around
i did not walk past the bench, did not have enough time
i doubt any mallard, moorhen would have bred this year.
a wader called not sure if it as the LRP/RP i saw a few weeks ago or another wader.
some of the fishermen say it may not be filled up for a few years.
ALSO
loads of swifts over where i live....over 30 for sure after 9pm today
