Blue tit                   Lots of young,second brood in one box
Great tit                 Doing well
Coal tit                   Numbers still down
L t tit                      Very elusive, one family party seen regular 
Bullfinch                 Commonest finch,still feeding young
Chaffinch               Numbers still increasing
Greenfinch             Numbers much better now
Goldfinch               Only odd ones
Mistle thrush         One nest with three young,not many more
Song thrush          Odd ones
Blackbird               Lots with young 
Robin                     Plenty with young
Dunnock                Steady numbers
Nuthatch               Still doing well,young seen regulary
Tree creeper         Very iregular sightings,no nest site found
Blackcap                Several pair with young
Willow warbler       Done well, several young in evidence
Chiffchaff               One definate pair feeding young
Spotted flycatcher Two seen today
Wren                     Recovered well after the cold spell
Whitethroat          One here mid july for a few days
Pied wagtail          Odd ones
Grey wagtail          Three young seen regular on river
Dipper                    Two pair both produced young
Kingfisher               A young male has been here all this week
Heron                    One young today
Moorhen                Female and one young at Irwell vale
Mallard                   Good numbers after a slow start
Goosander             4/5 redheads regular
G s woodpecker     Numbers steady
Green woodpecker Pair seen, no young seen
Jay                          Done well, several young seen
Jackdaw                  Good numbers   
Crow                       Several over
Rook                       A few in sheep fields
Swift                       Good numbers,especially in the evenings
Swallow                  Some young on wires,but not big numbers
House martin          20 + feeding along river this evening
Sand martin            Odd ones
Starling                   Unusual here,odd ones
Woodpigeon           Large numbers
Collard dove           One pair
House sparrow       Two small flocks about 8/10 strong
