sparrowhawk - 1 male at Gaghills & 1 female at Warth
kestrel - 1 at Warth
kingfisher - 1 on Kenroy's Pond at Warth
great spotted woodpecker - 1 in Waterfoot Park and 2 over Warth
grey wagtail - 2 at Warth and 1 at Gaghills
pied wagtail - 1 at Warth
mistle thrush - 1 at Gaghills
fieldfare - at Gaghills flocks of 175 and 125 flew south west around 9 am, 16 flew towards the Glen around the same time plus the tail end of another flock of at least 50 birds was seen flying east around the same time.  At Warth 100 flew south at 09:40, 27 flew south west at 10:15, 57 flew west at 10:40, 70 flew south west at 11:30 and 280 birds were feeding on holly, hawthorn and elderberry on the hillside from Warth to Hurdles Farm.  45 were flying west over Heightside at 11:10.  Later on there were 60 at Brittania and 100 flew over Whitworth Quarry.

redwing - 20 at Warth, 6 at Hurdles Farm & 20 flying west over staghills Wood
song thrush - 2 in Waterfoot Park
blackbird - 14 at warth
long tailed tit - 15 at Warth
jay 1 at Gaghills

a buzzard was over Hurdles Quarry yesterday
