Mallard, 2 on bottom lodge on small amount of ice free water,
Teal, 10 (7males & 3 females) with Mallards,
Kestrel, 1,
Sparrowhawk, female flashed over Harden Moor,
Stock Dove, 2,
Collared Dove, 1,
Wood Pigeon, c30,
G.S.Woodpecker, 1 calling,
Green Woodpecker, 1 yaffling,
Meadow Pipit, 1,
Fieldfare, c200 in flocks up to 120,
Redwing, odd bird in with Fieldfare,
Mistle Thrush, 2 pairs and a single,
Coal Tit, 2,
Jay, 1,
Chaffinch, c20,
Greenfinch, odd bird calling,
Bullfinch, 2.
Later over Rawtenstall at 16:45 c 70 Pink Footed Geese flew west.
