Good selection of birds Kevin.

Those Finch numbers are very encouraging.

I don't know whether your records tally with the news about the Finch crash (mainly Green) from about 2004 but mi y records certainly do. Greenfinch still have not recovered here although your numbers are maybe a sign that things are improving.

Let's hope so as I love the Greenfinch nasal call on a summer evening.

Hi Ste

Our greenfinch numbers have gone down from up to 60 birds in previous years.  Occasionally we might get 20 birds now.   Chaffinches and bullfinches have remained the same generally but goldfinches have definately increased in frequency and number.
