E.B.S.W. 1 Green Sandpiper feeding at the base of one of the coke beds. 1 Stock Dove c 150 B.H.Gull c 150 Jackdaw 2 Long Tailed Tit 3 Kingfisher on river nr. football ground, 1 bird chasing a pr downstream. 1 Dipper at Townsendfold 1m Kestrel at Newhallhey.
Ian, there have been a few winter sightings over the years. It wouldn't surprise me if it turned up at Holden Wood res at the weekend (when the workers are out and about) or even along the river somewhere. Well worth keeping an eye out for.
