Hi Brian
I passed yours yesterday, there were 3 wrens singing along the bridleway between yours & the bridge across the river.
Also nearby, as Bob said, a very vocal Nuthatch, f Bullfinch on yr feeder, but no sign of Siskin.
Dipper & pr of Grey Wags on river, & LTT's with nest material just on the edge of the swing park.
Regards,
Ina

Hi Brian, just checked my notes. Just an odd bird in your area. It appears as though there might have been an in flux over the past week. I've hardly recorded any through the early winter period and was wondering where they all were.

Bob.

Hi Ina and Bob,

I have done the mealworm trick again early this morning and have found a pair of Wrens with nesting material on the left hand side of the cycle track in the wall going from Strongstry to Irwell vale.

The Siskins have disapeared but have one each Brambling and Redpoll this morning.
