Bird numbers are thinning out but today a sure sign the weather has helped any early nesters with 2 young Mistle Thrush being fed by their parents today on sultanas.

House Martin numbers at regular breeding spot are still low but Swallow passing have been increasing.

Blackbird nest failed and no other young have been noted.

What a lovely 3 weeks we are in the middle of.

Edenfield is similar.

Garden Blackbird nest failed too, f vanished with half grown young in nest.

No Housemartins yet, but mine are usually late.
