Pheasant, 1 calling,
Sparrowhawk, male perched on wall mobbed by Swallows,
Swift, 4,
Skylark, 3 singing birds,
Swallow, c20, good numbers hawking over farmland,
House Martin, 1,
Willow Warbler, 3 singing,
Whitethroat, 1 singing. Seems to be a good year for them!

Before i moved to Rossendale one of my old stamping grounds was Astley and Irlam moss, i still call down there regulary and there Whitethroat numbers have been very high this year.
