07:50 hrs res. shoreline and car park

4 Swift -feeding for few minutes the gone.

2 Willow Warbler - singing

c5 Pied Wagtail

1 Linnet

c30 Meadow Pipit

2 Whinchat - rear of boathouse

1 Goldfinch

1 Wheatear - res. shoreline

1 Grasshopper Warbler flew from rushes calling

6 Swallow N,

Compston Cross

70 Swallows moving S.E. in 30 mins then c30 moved back towards reservoir area. Also 2 Sand Martin with them. c60 swallows in Limy valley and reservoir area feeding over moorland.

30 Meadow Pipit

1 Reed Bunting in plantings.

3 kestrel

Buzzard at New laithe - per A. Jones.

no whinchats for me was looking for almost 2 hours from 2.45 to 4.40pm. got a sparrowhawk and usual birds.
