Wind: Westerley 20/25mph with gust to 35

All movement South unless stated.

95% Cloud. Kept dry throughout count.

 

Still very poor counts, and Linnet was probably the best of the count.

 

Swallows: 34 (best party 12)

House Martin: 8

Linnet: 29 in small parties, and another 45 blogging

Meadow Pipit: 2

Alba Wagtail: 3

Goldfinch: 2W

 

Also local: 2 Little Egret, 5 Cormorant, Kestrel, Curlews, Lapwings, Starlings.

 

Also there is current a Siskin alert this mail came from Clive McKay (Vismig/Trektellen coordinator UK) through vismig earlier:

 

Provisional total for Siskins this morning at Carnoustie (Scotland) an incredible 2,130. Flock after flock right through the morning.
